Traditional Thai Massage

A Traditional Thai massage can be 1 or 2 hours, with just about every part of the body given treatment. One of the techniques involves the masseur running a hand knuckle along the base of the foot, and for some this can be quite painful.

The masseur will manipulate arms and legs in a way you never thought possible. Ultimately she may walk along your back putting pressure on your spine with her feet, and finish off by throwing you over her shoulders.

At the end of a Thai massage the body feels totally rejuvenated, and this is a feeling which can last for 3 or 4 days. The feet which suffered the knuckle treatment will feel light and you will think you are walking on air.

Spa massage

Thailand has developed a reputation as a spa destination and quite rightly so. Some of the best Spa resorts are here and they are regarded as some of the best in the wordl, not just the region. Places such as Six Senses offer the very best in body rejuvenation without making it feel like a trip to a hospital.

At a Spa resort the treatments vary according to the customer's requirements and maybe some advice from the resort expert. There are specialists in most fields, so a guest can home in on a problem they have had or simply use the spa to relax and enjoy. Baths, whirlpools, saunas, massage and therapeutic treatments are offered.

For skin rejuvenation there are mud, seaweed, or pebble stone treatments. The stone or pebble baths are quite amazing as you sit in a bath of warming pebbles for about 10 minutes. The most obvious effect is how the skin feels, but you will also have lost of few pounds, sitting in a bath doing nothing.

Oil Massage

The oil massage is a delight which does have a sexual side, if wanted. Male and females have oil massages and that is all they have, but there is more likely to be the offer of an extra service when having an oil massage.

It is a wonderful experience, but again the options vary. Go to a well respected spa resort and the options will be the type of oil used. Go to one of the small ‘Welcome Sir’ Massage houses in Bangkok and the type of oil is not the main point of going.

With an oil massage the body is simply massaged using oils. It is very sensual, and as the massage girl gets closer and closer to the genital area, the more difficult it is not to lie there with a raging erection!!

Of course, this is all part of the technique and inevitably it's all too much to bear and the answer is "Yes Please I'll take the extra service!!"

This is what the local population (especially male) call The Happy Ending. All this will take place in a private room, and not in the shop window!
