Safari World and Marine Park in Bangkok

  • Share:
Safari World is named as an animal and leisure park, and no one could deny this is the case.

Safari World is ideal for a family trip, divided into four sections, Safari Park, with African and Asian mammals, Bird Park, Macaw Island and Games Corner.

The vast 480 acre site is home to a wide range of animals, birds and marine life.

As with most attractions in Thailand the organization has managed to pack in as many side shows as possible with Feeding Shows with dolphins, displays of Thai Boxing (Muay Thai), Stunt Shows and a Bird Show.
There are tigers, giraffes, from both Africa and Asia, hippos, orangutans and sea lions.

Many are used for the performing shows, so for children this is great.

Also as a standard practice in the Land of Smiles, there are plenty of places to eat, which along with shopping, is a national pastime.

In the Marine Park there are Jungle River Cruises in a flume ride to enjoy, so for a good family day out Safari World is hard to beat.

Transport can be arranged from Bangkok to Safari World either through hotels, or any of the travel agents in Bangkok.

Safari World is in Min Buri, about 8 kilometres north of Bangkok, with daily opening times from 9am through to 5pm.

The entrance fee is 700 Baht for adults and 450 Baht for children.
